Wranglers LiL Scoot was purchased by our niece, Shalee Lemmon, at our 2004 Production Sale. Scooter has been a true blessing for Shalee and has made the transition from placing at the World Show in Team Penning to placing at 4-H and NBHA Barrels and Poles. More importantly, she has made a wonderful diffenence in a young girl's life. The following poem is Shalee's tribute to her friend, Scooter.
ODE TO MY FRIEND
By Shalee Lemmon
You gave me confidence when I was scared.
You showed me that I could achieve anything.
Your have always given your best and asked little in return.
You have shown loyalty beyond compare.
Now it is my turn to give back to you...
I will always provide you with a happy life.
I will never let you come to any harm.
I will always be grateful for all you have done for me.
I will return your gift of loyalty.
All of these I do solemnly swear to my friend, my horse.

Hi, I was just checking our your site and saw a pic of Chex there. I just wanted to let you know that he is doing well. We absolutely love him. He has fit into our place just perfect. I've been roping on him and have taken him to some US Ropings/Jackpots. I get great comments on him everywhere I take him. Jeff has really good luck roping on him also, but I think he's mine and have taken him over. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know he is doing well and he will be at our place for many years to come.
Happy Holidays,
Kristen and Jeff Hudson

Wanted to let you know how good the palomino colt is doing - we call him Dinero also! (original huh?)
He's still at Gene Von Ahns (guy who rides my colts) they keep trying to buy him but I'm not ready to part with him yet. He must be nice if he wants to buy him! REALLY excited now that Sherri did so well too!
When I can get you an updated photo of him I'll send it.
Hope all is well - take care,
Renea

Happy New Year Finneys! Josie is the best little mare--not a single turn for the worst, just better all the time. She is so mannerly and gentle to handle, just a real pleasure to be around. We took her out of the pen with the other weanling, (getting too fat on free choice feed!!) and put her out with the 'herd' (yearling, two year old, 4y/o, 9y/o, 11y/o and 15y/o bred mare). She is not one bit of trouble (obviously raised in a herd), very respectful toward all the other mares, quiet and humble in the barn. She has such good sense about keeping her distance in the barn, moving as soon as another horse moves toward her, so very quiet which pleases the old mares. The young mares delight in keeping her moving, but Josie never gets shook up about it, just moves along at their direction and keeps in close with whoever is the most receptive, or keeps her distance without anxiety. She has a bigger hip on her than the April birthday yearling, although she is a little shorter. Absolutely the easiest keeper I have ever owned--her back has to be 10 or 12 inches across, and just filled out and pretty already! She has a little hay belly on her, but we feed with the idea that they will have some to come back to later in the day, and I do not think she stops picking around on hay. The most beautiful, baby doll head, and such a lovely eye. We are anxious to start riding her next summer and see if we can make her into a barrel horse!
The young lady that bought the Seneca Bunny mare is enjoying her, too. I have seen her just in the last several days, and she is growing tall, filling out and loving life. She is living with 2 other horses and getting along well. She is fat and pretty. We are also looking forward to starting this filly too (likely we will break her and start her on barrels.)
I would especially like to have a catalogue of your Fall 2005 sale. I would be very interested in owning a filly from your stallion, especially bred to a running mare. I will look forward to receiving that.
Hope your holidays are happy--ours are, as they are filled with family and HORSES! Look forward to seeing you in the future!
Nanette Schneider
